‘Bharatbodh Ka Naya Samay’ : Prof. Sanjay Dwivedi’s new book launch

New Delhi (NewsReach) : Eminent journalist of the country and Director General of Indian Institute of Mass Communication, New Delhi, Prof. Sanjay Dwivedi’s new book ‘Bharatbodh Ka Naya Samay’ will be launched on Thursday, March 31 at 4 PM in New Delhi.

Uday Mahurkar, Information Commissioner, Government of India will be the chief guest of this program organized by Indira Gandhi National Center for the Arts. The function will be presided over by Dr. Satchidanand Joshi, Member Secretary, Indira Gandhi Kala Kendra and Prof. Kumud Sharma ,Senior Professor in the Hindi Department of Delhi University will attend the program as the keynote speaker. The special guest of the ceremony are Vice Chancellor of Indira Gandhi National Open University, Prof. Nageswara Rao and senior journalist and writer Ananth Vijay. The program will be organized in the public auditorium located at Janpath Hotel, Kala Kendra.

The Dean and Head of the Department, Indira Gandhi Center for Arts, Prof. Ramesh Chandra Gaur told that Prof. Sanjay Dwivedi’s book ‘Bharatbodh Ka Naya Samay’ introduces us to the new India. An India whose dream was seen by our national heroes. Through this book, an attempt has been made to remove the inferiority complex that people have about their culture.

The author of the book, Prof. Sanjay Dwivedi is a Media Professor, Academic Manager and Communication Specialist. During his journalism career spanning over one and a half decades, he has held important responsibilities in various media organizations. Pro. Dwivedi has also been the Vice-Chancellor of Makhanlal Chaturvedi National University of Journalism and Communication, Bhopal. He has also been the founder chairman of the Department of Journalism at Kushabhau Thackeray University of Journalism and Mass Communication, Raipur.

Pro. Dwivedi is presently a member of the Society and Governing Council of the Film and Television Institute of India (FTII), Pune. He has written and edited 26 books. He is the Editor-in-Chief of the University Grants Commission (UGC) approved research journals ‘Communicator’ and ‘Sanchar Medium’. He has been honored with various awards for his remarkable contribution in the media sector.
