The complainant also stated in the FIR that family members of the accused have threatened to kill him.

Additional superintendent of police (rural) Sandeep Kumar Meena said, “An FIR has been lodged under section 376D (gangrape) and the POCSO Act. We arrested one of the accused on September 15. Further investigation is on.”

Police arrested Naushe Ali in this case. The police could not arrest the other four accused. After the video went viral, on Wednesday, the police and administration team reached out jointly to investigate. They recorded the statements of the victim’s father as well as other people in the village.

The victim’s father alleges that the brother-in-law had taken the daughter to Moradabad a few days ago on the pretext of getting her treated by Hakim. After this, she was presented before the SSP. He called me and my wife retarded. I have told the truth by appearing in court.

At the same time, according to the villagers, there is a dispute between the witness of the incident, Rais, and the accused Naushe Ali over the distribution of land. The allegation of rape is baseless. The license of Raees’s government cheap galley shop was canceled by the accused Naushe Ali in a meeting with the head. To avenge this, this conspiracy has been hatched with the uncle of the victim.
