The incident took the lives of six kanwariyas who had journeyed from Haridwar, carrying holy water. The incident unfolded around 8 PM on Saturday as the kanwariyas entered the village of Rali Chauhan. Tragedy struck unexpectedly as their high-tension line became entangled with the DJ setup, causing a lethal electric current to surge through the speakers and the kanwads. The sudden shockwave left the kanwariyas helpless, and chaos ensued as they started falling one by one. Panicked screams echoed through the air, while confusion and disbelief gripped the witnesses.

Despite someone’s immediate call to the electricity department, urging them to shut down the power, no action was taken promptly. The precious moments slipped away, leaving the villagers frantically rushing to aid the electrocuted kanwariyas.
