Stolen cash, counterfeit notes, fake IDs, and more recovered in a major crackdown by Nandgram Police

Ghaziabad: In a significant breakthrough, the Nandgram Police team has successfully unraveled a case of fraud, leading to the arrest of five suspects involved in a heist amounting to a whopping two lakh thirty-five thousand rupees. The operation, conducted with precision, resulted in the recovery of a substantial amount of stolen money, fake currency, and various other incriminating items.

The incident came to light when a complaint was filed at the Nandgram Police Station, reporting a fraudulent scheme that duped unsuspecting victims of their hard-earned money. Acting swiftly, the police team initiated an investigation, which ultimately led to the identification and apprehension of the culprits involved.

During the operation, the police seized a cache of counterfeit notes cleverly concealed in a stack with genuine five hundred rupee bills. The culprits had also amassed a collection of three fake Aadhaar cards, a vehicle used in the commission of the crime, and eleven mobile phones.

In a surprising twist, the criminals were found in possession of three pairs of forged number plates, adding another layer of deception to their illicit activities. Additionally, two SIM cards with Nepalese numbers were confiscated during the raid.

The Nandgram Police, commended for their swift and effective action, urged citizens to remain vigilant against such fraudulent activities. The arrested individuals will now face legal proceedings for their involvement in the sophisticated criminal operation.
