On The Instructions Of CM Yogi Adityanath, A Special Campaign For Women’s Safety

Lucknow (NewsReach) : The focus of the Yogi Adityanath government of Uttar Pradesh remains on women empowerment along with women safety. In his first term as Chief Minister, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, who put the law and order of the state on top priority, on Friday also prepared a plan for women’s safety along with Deputy CM Brajesh Pathak and top officials of government and police.

On the instructions of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, programs under Mission Shakti will be started across the state from April 10. Women’s safety is one of the priority of the government. In this regard, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has directed the Police and Prosecution Department to take their steps diligently. He said that all the preparations should be completed on time by the department. CM Yogi Adityanath has instructed the officials for a special campaign for women’s safety from Navratri. He said that women constables should be deployed at beat level. So that the safety of women and girls will be closely monitored.

He said that the employees of all departments should establish coordination with the women beat officers and communicate with the women of all the villages and make them aware of the welfare schemes being run by the Uttar Pradesh government for women. Along with this, the officers should solve the problems related to women in the village secretariat in a time bound manner by starting a massive campaign once a week in the urban wards and villages. From the first day of Navratri, a special campaign should be launched by the police department regarding women’s safety. Anti Romeo squad should be activated in all schools and colleges for the safety of daughters. Along with this, in the evening, a team of police should go to the markets and crowded areas and do foot patrolling. It should also be ensured that the common man does not face any kind of problem.

The Chief Minister said that the foundation of basic policing would also be further strengthened to make the law and order of the state more efficient. Under this, in the coming 100 days, the police will advocate for the speedy punishment of the accused, especially in the cases of women crime. With this, the Anti Romeo Squad will appear more active as the presence of policemen increases from markets to major places. The Chief Minister said that the plan to set up police lines in all the districts should also be worked out expeditiously in six months.
