Kolkata-based leading jewelry retailer Senco Gold Limited is planning to expand its presence in North India. The company’s Managing Director and CEO Suvankar Sen gave this information. The company, which is preparing to bring IPO, has 127 showrooms in the country. Of these, 63 percent are in West Bengal.
The company sells its products under the Senco Gold & Diamonds trademark through several channels. This includes 70 company-operated showrooms and 57 franchised showrooms. A portion of the proceeds from the IPO will be used to open new stores across the country, Sen said. Our focus will be on North India.
The company has 2O showrooms in North India, which are spread across Delhi-NCR, Chandigarh, Haryana, and Uttar Pradesh. Apart from this, Senco is also planning to increase its online presence.
