Deepanshu Mittal: Mapping Humanity Beyond Borders in Rajnagar Extension

Ghaziabad: In Rajnagar Extension, where gleaming towers rise and city lights blur into the night, a quiet story of compassion is unfolding. It is not about a politician or a celebrity, but about a resident – Deepanshu Mittal, who, with quiet determination, has become a beacon of hope for thousands.

Deepanshu was born in Gulawathi, Bulandshahr, and after completing his early education, he earned a diploma in designing from Delhi. For the past 14 years, he has been working in digital cartography, mapping terrains and geographies. But in parallel, he has been charting a different kind of map – a map of human connections.

“I love connecting people,” he says simply. And that love led him to create local social media platforms where residents could interact, help one another, and feel less alone in the chaos of urban life.

When Humanity Was Tested

December 2020 was a moment of reckoning. Hospitals were overflowing, lives were hanging by a thread, and blood banks had run dry. It was in this darkest hour that Deepanshu acted. On 4th December 2020, he created the RNEx Raktdaan Mahadaan WhatsApp group.

What started as a small neighborhood network soon grew into a lifeline. Till today, the group has facilitated thousands of blood donations, each one a quiet miracle at a critical time. Families waiting outside ICU wards, frantic for help, found in this group not just blood donors but a community of strangers who cared.

“The biggest gift is not just the blood,” says Deepanshu. “It’s the hope we give, the faith we restore, the lives we silently uplift.”

Balancing Family and Service

At just 35, Deepanshu juggles two young sons, a demanding career, and family duties. Yet, with unwavering support from his wife, he carves out time each day for his social mission. “Her encouragement keeps me going,” he smiles.

A Larger Appeal

Deepanshu’s message to society is clear and urgent:
“Form small groups in your own localities. Build bridges between people. Unite and empower communities. That’s how we make society stronger.”

A Changemaker in Our Midst

In an age where social media often divides, Deepanshu has used it to heal and to connect. His journey is not loud, nor is it celebrated with fanfare. It is quiet, consistent, and deeply impactful.

And that is why, in Rajnagar Extension and beyond, Deepanshu Mittal stands tall as a true community hero – a changemaker who reminds us that real power lies in coming together.
