Shiv Sena leader Priyanka Chaturvedi attacked the government regarding this. She said that the interesting thing is that those who criticize India’s first PM Nehru are using non-aligned policy to justify their position in the United Nations. She further said that abstaining from voting against war does not improve the relationship but weakens the principles against violence and human rights violations. She said that we stood on the same resolution as China, which says a lot about our foreign policy.
