Health First: Ayushman & Family Health Card Camp Held at Villa Anandam Society

Rajnagar Extension | May 10, 2025 : In a commendable step toward ensuring accessible healthcare for all, Villa Anandam Society in Rajnagar Extension hosted a special health card and Ayushman Card camp today. The initiative was jointly organized by the Federation of Rajnagar Extension Societies (FRENS) and Vardan Multispecialty Hospital, aiming to extend health services to economically weaker sections of the society.

The camp marked a significant milestone in community health outreach, with 90 staff members receiving Family Health Cards, which will entitle them to free consultations, diagnostic services, and discounted treatments at Vardan Hospital.

A Mission to Bridge Healthcare Gaps

Dr. Subodh Gupta, Senior Vice President of FRENS, emphasized the larger vision behind the initiative:

“Our goal is to ensure every underprivileged family has access to essential healthcare. Today’s distribution of health cards is a step in that direction.”

FRENS President Sachin Tyagi echoed the sentiment, stating:

“This is more than just a card distribution drive—it’s a model we intend to replicate across other societies so that maximum families can benefit.”

Dignitaries and Community Participation

The event was graced by several key representatives from both FRENS and Vardan Hospital, including Dr. Subodh Gupta, Atul Prakash Bhatnagar, Pankaj Gupta, Mukesh Tyagi, and Manoj Kumar Singh. From Vardan Hospital, Vikrant Singh and Ashu Pal were present, facilitating the card issuance and guiding beneficiaries on how to avail the services.

A Community-Centric Approach

With health emergencies becoming increasingly unpredictable, such collaborative efforts between resident welfare organizations and healthcare providers serve as a crucial support system for daily-wage workers, domestic help, and other economically vulnerable groups residing in housing societies.

The camp at Villa Anandam serves as a model for health inclusion, showcasing how localized efforts can create a ripple effect in strengthening the nation’s health infrastructure at the grassroots.
