Ghaziabad Cops Celebrates Diwali with underprivileged

The initiative was undertaken by the Ghaziabad police as UP CM urges officers, employees to celebrate Diwali with deprived, needy people

Ghaziabad: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath extended Diwali greetings and urged people’s representatives and employees to celebrate the festival with the deprived and needy people today morning in a Tweet.

“When the government sensitively provides public facilities, then the vision of Ramraj comes true,” Adityanath said and added that (feeling of) collectiveness should be developed while celebrating the festivals, and not going solo.

The Ghaziabad Police officers celebrated Diwali and personnel spent time with those living in old-age homes, orphanages, slum clusters and shelter homes and also distributed gifts to the underprivileged on the occasion of Diwali.

The top hierarchy of the Ghaziabad police spent time at a slum cluster in RDC, where sweets were distributed. The police distributed sweets, fruits, clothes and shoes to children and also gave away gifts and sweets to the elderly at slums near Fire Station Vaishali.

These tough officials were eager to display their soft side in front of the children residing at slums and They spent time with them by offering them sweet and savory dishes. The children were also happy to see the police officers and get so many things. Such an effort by police officers is sure to inspire other people in society.
