Gaur Cascades Gears Up For 75th Independence Day Celebration
Ghaziabad : ‘Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav’ an initiative of the Government of India to celebrate 75 years of independence of progressive India and the glorious history of its people, culture and achievements. The festival is dedicated to the people of India, who have not only played a vital role in bringing India in its evolutionary journey, but also have within them the power and ability to enable Prime Minister Modi’s vision to energize India 2.0, which is self-reliant, inspired by emotion. The Amrit Mahotsav of Azadi is progressive about India’s socio-cultural, political and economic identity.
The official journey of “Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav” begins on March 12, 2021, begins a 75-week countdown for the 75th anniversary of our independence and will end after a year on August 15, 2023.
The aroma of patriotism can be sensed in every corner of the nation from dawn to dusk as it gets ready to mark 75 years of Independence from British rule in India. The country has dipped into the ocean of tricolour, and so the citizens are. The ramparts of the Red Fort have also been settled down to mark the auspicious occasion. Persisting the nation’s customs, the Prime Minister will host the flag, address the citizens from the rampart and present the roadmap to boost the nation’s growth.
Gaur Cascades, a society of Rajnagar Extension also Gears Up For 75th Independence Day Celebration. President Anuj Rathi, Secretary Sanjeev Kumar Malik informed that on the eve of Independence Day continuing the celebrations of Amrit Mahotsav today the form of Akhand Bharat was created by women residents of the society. The idea of Akhand Bharat is as old as a civilization as it duly got a place and described in ancient Bharatiya scriptures. The idea of Akhand Bharat was originated by the master of the Arthashastra, Chanakya. At the time, the 3rd century BC, the Indian subcontinent–which covered what are now the modern-day nations of Afghanistan, Pakistan, India, Nepal, Burma, Tibet, Bhutan, and Bangladesh – was divided into many independent kingdoms. Chanakya articulated the idea of an Akhand Bharat, which means all states in the region being under one authority, rule, and administration.
Vandana, Preeti, Jyoti, Nidhi, Khushboo and other residents assisted in making the representation of Maa Bharati and kick start the celebrations to mark the 75 years on, our hard fought independence with patriotic fervor. Indian flags were also distributed among residents to support the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign. All residents participated in the event enthusiastically.
The program envisages inspiring all to hoist the national flag at their home. The aim of the initiative is to make the relationship with the national flag a more personal one rather than just keeping it formal or institutional.
The idea behind the initiatives is to invoke the feeling of patriotism in the hearts of the people and celebrate our hard earned freedom, said Anuj Rathi.
