Ghaziabad: A massive explosion rocked the Rishi Market Colony of Thana Loni in Ghaziabad, as an unauthorized firecracker factory went up in flames. Local authorities and police rushed to the scene to assess the situation.
The incident took place in a seemingly abandoned house, which was allegedly being used to manufacture firecrackers illegally. After the explosion, the police arrived at the location and found that the building was severely damaged. The blast had caused the roof of the house to collapse, leaving behind a scene of destruction.
Remarkably, no casualties or injuries have been reported in the aftermath of the explosion. The adjacent areas have been evacuated to ensure the safety of the residents.
Upon investigation, local residents informed the authorities that the house belonged to an individual named Gulshan, who had been involved in the firecracker business around 6-7 years ago. The police had cracked down on his operations, after which he moved to Panipat for a few years. Approximately 3-4 years ago, he sold part of the property to another individual.
The police are currently working to determine the cause of the explosion and if any illegal firecracker manufacturing activities were ongoing at the site. While no casualties were reported, the incident highlights the dangers associated with illegal firecracker production, emphasizing the need for stricter enforcement of regulations and monitoring of such activities.
