Double Homicide Shocks Loni Border Area, Police Begin Investigation

Ghaziabad: In a tragic incident, the bodies of 65-year-old Yashoda Devi and her son Bijendra (35) were discovered in their home in the Gulab Vatika Colony of the Loni Border Thana area on Wednesday morning. Both bodies were found lying on the bed in a pool of blood, indicating a brutal crime scene. Furthermore, cash and jewelry were reported missing from a cupboard in another room of the house. The incident occurred on the second floor of the building while the rest of the family was asleep on the third floor.

Upon receiving the information, the police promptly arrived at the scene and conducted an inspection. Yashoda Devi, the deceased, lived with her family after the demise of her husband Hari Narayan about 10 years ago. Her son Bijendra was differently-abled. Meanwhile, on the third floor of the house, Bijendra’s brother Dharmendra lived with his wife and children.

The bodies of Yashoda and Bijendra were found lying in the room in the morning, covered in blood. It was Dharmendra’s children who discovered the gruesome sight when they came downstairs. Following this, the family informed the police about the incident. The family alleges that the perpetrators entered the house and brutally murdered Yashoda and Bijendra.
