New Delhi: Indian cricket star Hardik Pandya has announced his separation from his wife Natasa Stankovic after four years of marriage. The couple took to their respective social media accounts to share a joint statement revealing their decision.
“After four years of being together, Natasa and I have decided to mutually separate,” Pandya wrote on his Instagram handle. “We have tried our best and given it our all, but we believe this is the best decision for both of us to move on.”
The couple, who tied the knot in May 2020, are parents to a son, Agastya, born in July 2020. They had renewed their wedding vows in a grand ceremony in Udaipur in February 2023.
“This was a tough decision for us to make, given the joy, mutual respect, and companionship we shared together and as we built a family,” Pandya added. “We are blessed with Agastya, who will continue to be the center of our lives. We will co-parent to ensure his happiness and well-being.”
Pandya and Stankovic, a Serbian model and actress, had been together for several years before their wedding. Stankovic made her Bollywood debut in Prakash Jha’s ‘Satyagraha’ and has appeared in several music videos and commercials.
The couple has requested privacy during this difficult time. “We sincerely request your support and understanding as we navigate this challenging phase,” Pandya concluded.
