Clash over RWA’s change of security agency in a housing society in UP’s Ghaziabad

In the viral video, men can be seen attacking each other with sticks and belts on the gates of society. UP police arrived as soon as informed and neutralized the situation

Ghaziabad: Clash at a housing society in UP’s Ghaziabad after the newly elected Residents’ welfare association (RWA) in the society moved to change the security agency against the wishes of old RWA. The matter started only with a debate about changing the security of the society, however, it escalated into a clash between the society members, and security guards in Mahagun Mascot society of Crossing Republic, Ghaziabad.

In the viral video, it can be seen that two groups clashing with each other using sticks, belts and rods. It can be seen in the video that people standing on either side of the gate are hitting each other with sticks.

Circle Officer (CO) said that in the dispute between two parties of RWA in the Mahagun Society, which falls under the Vijayanagar police station area, three people have been detained by the local police, and others are being marked, Further action is on in the matter.
