Residents Demand Justice as Local Couple Engages in Heinous Acts of Violence

Ghaziabad : In a distressing incident that unfolded on June 26 evening at approximately 7 pm, a resident of Wave Executive Floors in Wave City became the victim of an unprovoked attack by a couple, Pinky Singh and her husband. The incident, which was captured on CCTV, not only involved physical assault on the woman but also witnessed an act of animal cruelty that has left the local community outraged.

The victim identified as Natasha Satija were in the parking area when the unfortunate events occurred. As fate would have it, she was walking towards their car accompanied by her sister and their dogs, all secured with leashes. Engrossed in carrying a bag along with personal belongings, they were suddenly caught off guard when one of their dogs, Biba, managed to slip out of its collar and darted towards the Singh family’s vehicle.

The situation escalated rapidly when the unidentified woman, later discovered to be a resident of the same society, harshly admonished the dog owner, demanding they control their pet. Expressing remorse, Natasha immediately attempted to hand over their belongings to their sister, intending to retrieve Biba. Shockingly, without any warning or justification, allegedly the woman callously kicked Biba with tremendous force, causing the poor dog to be launched into the air, landing painfully on its side. The agonizing cries of the injured animal sent shockwaves through the surrounding area.

Unable to tolerate this act of cruelty, the Natasha confronted the woman, asking why she would resort to such violence. In a callous retort, the woman replied, “Should I let your dog bite my child?” Swiftly defending their dog’s innocent behavior, she argued that the incident was an unfortunate accident that could have happened to anyone. They emphasized that Biba was securely leashed and posed no threat to anyone.

However, the situation took an even darker turn when the woman’s husband intervened, alleged to be verbally abusing and physically assaulting Natasha and her sister. Infuriated, they questioned the man’s intentions, questioning why he would resort to violence against a woman. Fueled by a combination of fear and anger, they attempted to defend themselves by restraining the woman, but their actions were met with an unexpected attack. The man, brandishing a shoe, mercilessly struck Natasha on the head with full force, while the woman assaulted their back with a stick. The victim’s torn clothing and visible wounds serve as haunting reminders of the brutal altercation.

As the chaos unfolded, Natasha’s sister, attempting to document the incident, also became a target of the couple’s aggression. The assailants launched an attack against her as well, leaving her traumatized and injured.

Both parties involved subsequently reported the incident to the police. Shockingly, the couple had already lodged a false complaint, falsely alleging that the passerby’s dog had attempted to bite their young child. However, the CCTV footage, reviewed by the authorities, clearly reveals that the man had initiated the physical altercation unprovoked.

The victim is now seeking widespread support to bring these uncivilized individuals to justice. The incident not only highlights the urgent need to protect animals from cruelty but also underscores the importance of addressing gender-based violence and safeguarding women’s dignity.

Local residents are uniting in their demand for justice, calling for strict legal action against the couple for their heinous acts. Animal rights activists and women’s advocacy groups are also rallying behind the victim, pledging their unwavering support in their fight against such abhorrent behavior.

Based on the complaint, the couple has been booked under IPC sections 323 (assault), 504 (intentional assault) , and 506 (criminal intimidation).
