Battle for West UP heats up; Congress receiving good response – Priyanka Gandhi
Congress General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra and former Deputy CM of Rajasthan Sachin Pilot seek votes for Congress candidate in Hastinapur.
Congress general secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra & Sachin Pilot on Tuesday held the door to door Jansampark Abhiyan’ in Hastinapur, UP, where elections are scheduled to take place on February 10.
The Congress leader also rode in a tractor during the campaign. “Congress is receiving a good response from public during our campaigning for Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections,” Priyanka Gandhi said. The polling in Uttar Pradesh will be held on February 10, 14, 20, 23, 27 and March 3 and 7. The counting of votes will be done on March 10.
The Congress has fielded actor and beauty pageant winner Archana Gautam from Hastinapur constituency in the Meerut district to contest the Uttar Pradesh assembly elections. Ms Gautam got a ticket within two months of joining the party. She had joined Congress in November 2021.
