Etawah : A 28-year-old prisoner, who was convicted of rape in Uttar Pradesh’s Etawah district jail, allegedly amputated his genitals on Tuesday. Jail officials gave this information.
Jail Superintendent Ram Dhani Singh said that Anil Kumar alias Annu (28), who was serving a 10-year jail term for the rape incident in 2019, cut his genitals with a blade on Tuesday. He said that the prisoner has been admitted to the district hospital. The prisoner is a resident of the Jalaun district of Uttar Pradesh.
