Ghaziabad: Chaos ensued when a youth scaled a 40-foot-high pillar of the Bantala Railway Overbridge after consuming alcohol. The police were alerted, and they summoned the fire brigade for assistance. Fire brigade personnel, with the help of a ladder, managed to bring the young man down safely.
ACP Rajneesh Kumar Upadhyay revealed that the young man, Rahul, has a history of alcohol consumption. He left his home on Monday night and somehow ended up at the pillar, but how he managed to climb up remains a mystery.
