Waste-to-Wonder Musical Park: A Symphony of Sustainability in Rajnagar

Ghaziabad : In a remarkable initiative promoting sustainability, Municipal Commissioner Vikramaditya Singh Malik, along with councilors from the Kavi Nagar zone, inaugurated the Waste-to-Wonder Musical Park in Rajnagar Sector-14. The park, developed on the theme of music, features unique sculptures of sitars, tablas, and other musical instruments crafted entirely from waste materials.

The park is a part of the municipal corporation’s broader “Waste-to-Best” campaign, aiming to inspire residents to creatively repurpose household waste into innovative and useful items. During the event, Commissioner Malik encouraged attendees to adopt similar practices in their homes, turning trash into treasures.

The newly transformed park, which previously housed the Vishwanath Temple, now stands as a testament to artistic creativity and environmental consciousness. Local artists, led by Namita and her team, contributed their exceptional skills to craft these stunning installations, transforming discarded materials into works of art.

The inauguration ceremony was attended by Chief Engineer N.K. Chaudhary, Deputy Municipal Commissioner Avnindra Kumar, councilors Manoj Tyagi, Amit Tyagi, and Praveen, along with numerous other dignitaries.

The Waste-to-Wonder Park not only showcases the city’s commitment to sustainability but also provides a visually engaging and educational space for the community, emphasizing the importance of recycling and upcycling.

This innovative project stands as an inspiring example of how waste can be turned into something extraordinary, fostering a sense of creativity and responsibility among residents.
