Vibrant Annual Function Celebrated at Seth Jayaprakash Mukund Lal Women’s Polytechnic

Ghaziabad, April 26, 2025 –
Seth Jayaprakash Mukund Lal Women’s Polytechnic came alive with color, creativity, and celebration as it hosted its Annual Function and Prize Distribution Ceremony with great enthusiasm and grandeur on Saturday, April 26, 2025.

The event commenced with the traditional lighting of the lamp before Goddess Saraswati, performed by esteemed dignitaries, marking the beginning of an evening full of inspiration and talent.

A major highlight of the program was the mesmerizing Fashion Show, themed “Sea Coral.” The show was artistically divided into three captivating segments — Leather Show, Jewelry Show, and Apparel Show. Students from the Fashion Designing and Garment Technology department took inspiration from the vibrant colors, textures, and forms found in marine life, designing and presenting their own dresses and jewelry. The creativity and craftsmanship left the audience spellbound.

The cultural segment of the event was equally enchanting, featuring vibrant performances such as the Prayer Dance “Ram Siya Ram”, a lively Puppet Dance, a soulful Sufi Dance “Tu Jhoom”, and an unforgettable dance portrayal of the ten incarnations of Lord Vishnu. Each performance showcased the immense talent and devotion of the students, captivating everyone present.

Addressing the gathering, Principal Mrs. Ranjana Mishra took the opportunity to inform students about the ongoing UPJEE CUP Polytechnic-2025 online application process, urging them to register by the last date, April 30, 2025, through the official website www.jeecup.admission.nic.in. She encouraged aspiring students to seize this opportunity to build their careers in Fashion Designing and Garment Technology by enrolling in Group-C and Lateral Entry Group-K7.

In a proud moment for the institution, top-performing students were honored for their academic excellence:

  • Final Year: Saleha (First with Honours), Rozy Khan, and Shivalika
  • Second Year: Muskan Pundeer, Krish, and Pooja Tomar
  • First Year: Ashmin Saifi, Harshita, and Priya

The awards were presented by Mrs. Mishra, celebrating the shining stars of the Polytechnic.

The program was attended by the Department Head, Mrs. Rajni Thakur, all faculty members, and students, making it a truly memorable occasion filled with pride, joy, and aspiration.
