Ghaziabad: In a chilling case that has sent shockwaves through the community, the Ghaziabad Police have uncovered the grisly details of a meticulously planned and executed murder involving multiple individuals across two districts. The crime came to light following the interrogation of key suspects involved in the heinous act.
The investigation revealed that the victim, Tarun Pawar, an interior designer, was lured to a rented house in Morata, Ghaziabad, on the pretext of discussing an interior design project. The house was rented by Deepak and Alok, with the help of their landlord, Manoj, a resident of Morata. The plot to kill Tarun was devised by Pawan and Vishal, who were also in league with Akshay, who had a strained relationship with his wife, Aarti, residing in Ora Kaimara Society, Rajnagar Extension, and other associates from Bulandshahr.
The motive behind the murder was rooted in a complex web of personal relationships. Aarti, who had a close relationship with Tarun, had confided in Akshay and Pawan about her concerns regarding Tarun. Additionally, Aarti’s relationship with her brother-in-law Akshay was also under scrutiny. The conspirators, driven by personal vendettas and jealousy, meticulously planned Tarun’s murder.
On August 16, 2024, as per their plan, Deepak invited Tarun to the house in Morata under the guise of discussing the design work. Upon his arrival, Tarun was ambushed and restrained in a room where Pawan, Vishal, Deepak, and Alok were waiting. They used a rope to strangle him and subsequently, Deepak struck Tarun on the head with a wooden stick, causing fatal injuries.
After killing Tarun, Pawan and Deepak drove his Kia Sonet to Yashoda Hospital in Nehrunagar and abandoned the vehicle in the parking lot. They then returned to Morata. Later that night, they dismembered Tarun’s body into three pieces and transported the remains on a Discover motorcycle driven by Pawan, with Deepak holding the body behind him. They then transferred the body parts to a WagonR vehicle parked nearby and drove to a canal near the village of Shehra, where they disposed of the remains in separate locations.
Following the crime, the perpetrators went their separate ways, attempting to cover their tracks. However, through persistent investigation, the police were able to piece together the sequence of events and apprehend the suspects involved in the gruesome murder. The investigation is ongoing, and further details are awaited as the police continue to gather evidence and bring the culprits to justice.
