Undeterred Spirit: Ghaziabad Devotees Stand Firm After Pahalgam Attack
Ghaziabad, April 27, 2025
In the wake of the recent terror attack on tourists in Pahalgam, the Shri Amarnath Dughdheshwar Barfani Baba Seva Samiti, Ghaziabad, has issued a strong statement condemning the cowardly act.
The Committee’s General Secretary, Rakesh Gusain, expressed deep sorrow and anger over the attack, noting that it appears to be an attempt to disrupt the sacred Amarnath Yatra. However, he assured that such acts of terror would not succeed in dampening the spirit of the devotees.
For the past 13 years, the Committee has been organizing food and support services (bhandaras) for pilgrims at Pissu Top during the Amarnath Yatra. This year, the Seva Samiti plans to set up 14 bhandaras, continuing its tradition of selfless service.
“Our Ghaziabad community of Shiva devotees remains fearless,” Gusain said. “We will proceed with the Amarnath Yatra with full faith and determination. We will not allow the terrorists’ intentions to succeed.”
The Committee has also urged all devotees not to be disheartened or afraid. “We have complete trust in our Army and our Government. We appeal to everyone: come for the Yatra and show that our devotion is stronger than fear,” he added.
The Shri Amarnath Dughdheshwar Barfani Baba Seva Samiti stands as a symbol of resilience, inspiring all to move forward with courage and faith.
