Two Gangsters Behind Attack on Actress Disha Patani’s House Killed in Ghaziabad Encounter

Ghaziabad : In a dramatic late-night encounter in Ghaziabad’s Loni area, two gangsters linked to Canada-based gangster Goldy Brar and Haryana’s Rohty Godara gang were shot dead by the Uttar Pradesh STF with support from the Delhi Police Special Cell. The slain criminals, identified as Arun and Ravindra, were directly involved in the recent firing incident at Bollywood actress Disha Patani’s residence in Bareilly.
Police sources revealed that intelligence inputs indicated the presence of Arun and Ravindra in the Tronica City locality of Loni. Acting swiftly, a joint team of the STF and Delhi Police Special Cell surrounded the area. On realizing they were trapped, the duo opened fire on the police team, sparking a fierce gunbattle.
According to officials, multiple rounds of bullets were exchanged before both criminals were critically injured. They were rushed to a nearby hospital but were declared dead on arrival. Senior officers confirmed that no police personnel suffered major injuries in the exchange.
The operation has been described as a major breakthrough, given the growing nexus of organized crime syndicates operating in western Uttar Pradesh and Delhi-NCR. Arun and Ravindra had been on the radar since they carried out the firing at Disha Patani’s Bareilly home earlier this week. The attack had triggered widespread concern, particularly after the actress’s father met with Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, seeking enhanced security for the family.
The Goldy Brar–Rohit Godara network, notorious for its involvement in extortion, targeted killings, and intimidation, has been under heightened surveillance by law enforcement agencies in recent months. With the neutralization of Arun and Ravindra, police believe a significant dent has been made in the gang’s operations in the region.
A senior STF officer remarked, “This encounter sends a strong message to criminal networks that such acts of terror and intimidation against public figures and civilians will not be tolerated. We are continuing to track down other members of the gang.”
The incident has once again brought the issue of celebrity security and organized crime links into sharp focus. While the immediate threat to Disha Patani’s family has been neutralized, police officials said vigilance remains high, and additional protective measures are being considered.
