Ghaziabad: A tragic road accident claimed the life of a 45-year-old truck driver and left his 32-year-old helper critically injured on NH-9 near ABES College on Tuesday morning. The fatal collision occurred when the truck they were traveling in collided with a milk container.
The impact of the accident was severe, resulting in significant damage to the milk tankers. As milk began to spill onto the road, locals rushed to the scene and started collecting the milk in plastic cans and bottles.
The injured helper has been admitted to a nearby hospital and is reported to be in critical condition. The deceased driver’s identity has been withheld pending notification of next of kin.
Traffic on the busy highway was severely disrupted due to the accident and subsequent cleanup operations. The local police have registered a case and are investigating the cause of the collision.
