Three Minor Sisters Jump to Death from 9th Floor in Ghaziabad, Police Probe Suspected Online ‘Task Game’ Link
Ghaziabad : In a chilling late-night tragedy, three minor sisters allegedly jumped to their deaths from the ninth floor of a residential tower in Ghaziabad in the early hours of Tuesday, sending shockwaves across the city.
The incident took place between 2.15 am and 2.30 am at Tower B-1, Flat No. 907, Bharat City Society. The victims have been identified as Nishika (16), Prachi (14) and Pakhi (12) — daughters of Chetan Kumar.
According to eyewitness accounts, residents rushed out after hearing loud screams and a heavy thud. The three sisters were found lying in a pool of blood on the ground. They were immediately taken to a nearby hospital, where doctors declared them brought dead.
Note found: “Mom-Dad sorry”
During the spot inspection, police recovered a one-page suicide note from the flat. The note reportedly carried only three words:
“Mom-Dad sorry.”
The heartbreaking message has left the family and residents of the society in deep shock.

Possible link to online Korean task-based game
Preliminary investigation has revealed a disturbing possibility. Police suspect that the three girls were heavily addicted to a mobile-based, task-oriented online game, believed to be a so-called “Korean lover” or challenge-based game.
Investigators are examining whether the children were being pushed to complete a final online task that allegedly led them to take the extreme step together.
Officials, however, clarified that this angle is still under verification.
Police scanning phones and digital activity
Confirming the investigation, Atul Kumar Singh, ACP, Shalimar Garden, said:
“As soon as information was received, the police team reached the spot and the bodies were sent for post-mortem. Family members are being questioned and the mobile phones and digital activity of all three girls are being scanned. We are examining every possible angle, including the online game they were reportedly playing.”
Police are also trying to identify the platform, game developer and online contacts linked to the children.
Society in mourning
The incident has plunged Bharat City Society into silence and grief. Neighbours described the three sisters as inseparable and said they used to do most daily activities together, including studying, eating and spending time on their phones.
Authorities have urged parents to closely monitor children’s online activity and screen time, especially in the case of task-based or anonymous gaming platforms.
The case remains under active investigation.
