Swift Action by Fire Department Saves Lives After Blaze at Uttam Toyota Showroom

Meerut Road, April 26, 2025 :
In a tense incident late Saturday evening, a fire broke out at the Uttam Toyota showroom on Meerut Road, setting five vehicles ablaze. The incident was reported at 7:55 PM, prompting an immediate and coordinated response from the Fire Station Kotwali.

Upon receiving the distress call, three fire tankers were swiftly dispatched to the scene. On arrival, the fire teams found five vehicles – two HyRyders, one HyCross, one Innova Crysta, and one Glanza , engulfed in flames. The fire service units quickly deployed hose pipes and began an aggressive firefighting operation.

Thanks to the prompt and efficient action by the firefighters, the blaze was brought under full control without any loss of life or injuries. The scene was tense, but the professionalism of the fire crews ensured that the situation was contained rapidly and safely.

Harnand Tyagi, Director of the showroom and a resident of Patel Nagar Third, was present at the site during the incident. He coordinated with authorities and confirmed that no personnel were harmed.

Following the successful firefighting operation, all units returned to the Fire Station Kotwali.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation. However, the quick action by the fire service prevented what could have been a far greater tragedy.
