Swami Vivekananda Jayanti Celebrated with Enthusiasm at Mewar Group of Institutions

Ghaziabad: The Mewar Group of Institutions in Vasundhara hosted a vibrant celebration on the occasion of Swami Vivekananda Jayanti, leaving the audience captivated. The program featured inspiring speeches, thought-provoking poems, and remarkable presentations centered on the life and teachings of Swami Vivekananda, adding charm and energy to the event.

Dr. Ashok Kumar Gadiya, Chairman of Mewar Institutions, described Swami Vivekananda as the empowering representative of India’s 650 million youth. In his address, Dr. Gadiya praised Vivekananda for rekindling hope and enthusiasm among the youth disheartened by colonial oppression. He highlighted the iconic message of Swami Vivekananda: “Arise, awake, and stop not until the goal is reached.”

Dr. Gadiya urged students to read Vivekananda’s landmark speech, “My Revolutionary Plan,” delivered in Madras, to understand the visionary leader’s thoughts. He emphasized that adopting the virtues of great personalities like Swami Vivekananda could unlock India’s potential for development. His speech also touched upon the importance of compassion, kindness, and reverence for gurus.

Dr. Alka Aggarwal, Director of Mewar Institutions, emphasized the need for a spiritual revolution in today’s world. She inspired students to embody Vivekananda’s ideals to build self-confidence and inner strength, urging them to focus on truth, goodness, and righteousness. According to Dr. Aggarwal, India’s resurgence as a global leader hinges on nurturing youth with strong character.

The celebrations saw spirited participation from students, including Prachi & Group, Shatakshi & Group, Muskan, Shipra, Shikha, Shivangi, Shilpi, and Nandini, who presented poems, songs, speeches, and slogans. The event also featured the distribution of Dr. Ashok Kumar Gadiya’s book, “My Revolutionary Plan,” which explores Swami Vivekananda’s teachings.

The program concluded with the national anthem, leaving attendees inspired and motivated. The event was seamlessly hosted by Shipra, a B.Ed student, and attended by the institution’s staff and students.
