Sensory Walk at Central Park Brings Children Closer to Nature – Organised by Parivartan Prarambh School, Raj Nagar Branch

Raj Nagar, Ghaziabad : In an inspiring initiative to connect young minds with nature, Parivartan Prarambh School’s Raj Nagar branch organized a “Sensory Walk” at Central Park today. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from both students and their parents, making it a memorable and enriching experience for all.
The program was led by the school’s founder, Veenu Chaudhary, who warmly thanked the parents for their active involvement and appreciated their support in promoting outdoor learning. Addressing the gathering, Mrs. Chaudhary emphasized the importance of spending time in nature, explaining how regular interaction with the natural world enhances physical well-being, fosters mental peace, and boosts creativity among children.

“Being in the company of trees, birds, and open skies nurtures empathy, emotional sensitivity, and environmental consciousness in young hearts,” she remarked.
During the walk, the children explored a variety of trees such as mango, amla, belpatra, and peepal, identifying them and learning interesting facts about their ecological significance. The activity offered a hands-on learning experience outside the classroom, sparking curiosity and respect for biodiversity.
The event also featured a yoga session, allowing students to experience the calming effects of nature while engaging in mindful movement and breathing exercises.
In a burst of creativity, the children, with help from their parents, crafted imaginative artworks using fallen leaves, twigs, and other natural materials collected during the walk. These beautiful creations were a testament to their vibrant imagination and deeper appreciation of the world around them.
The Sensory Walk served as a powerful reminder of the value of experiential education and the role nature can play in nurturing thoughtful, aware, and healthier individuals from an early age.
