Ghaziabad: The Sankalp Trust (Registered), an organization committed to various social, religious, and cultural activities for the past nine years in the Raj Nagar Extension area, has consistently promoted social awareness, environmental conservation, cleanliness, and public health. The trust has also organized a marathon for the last three years, planting thousands of trees in the Raj Nagar Extension region.
This year, the trust, with the support and participation of various society residents in the Raj Nagar Extension, is organizing the Durga Puja from October 15th to October 24th. The event kicks off with the Kalash Sthapana on October 15, 2023 (Sunday) at 10:00 AM, at the Sankalp Siddhi Sthal (KDP Grand Savana, MCC Square Signature, and Ajnara Integrity in the vicinity of Raj Nagar Extension).
This religious and cultural event will continue daily from the first day of Navratri to Dashami. Alongside the grand puja, cultural programs are scheduled from October 20th to October 23rd, 2023, every evening from 7:00 PM to 10:00 PM. Various children from Raj Nagar Extension’s different societies will be presenting during these cultural events.
Eminent dignitaries are expected to grace the event, including General V.K. Singh (Minister of the Government of India), Member of Parliament Anil Agrawal, Dinesh Kashyap (Minister, Uttar Pradesh Government), Mayor of Ghaziabad Sunita Dayal, and Member of Legislative Assembly Sunil Sharma, among others.
Given last year’s substantial turnout of attendees, special security arrangements are in place this year to ensure that devotees do not face any inconveniences at the puja venue.
