Samajwadi Party Reviews Women’s Participation, Booth Committees in Ghaziabad

Ghaziabad: In a significant move to empower women and boost their participation in politics, the Uttar Pradesh State President of Samajwadi Party Women’s Wing, Rebu Srivastava, was highly commended during a review meeting.

Under the leadership of Rebu Srivastava, Samajwadi Party has actively pushed for greater involvement of women in political decision-making processes and the formation of booth committees. To discuss and promote these initiatives further, a meeting was organized with top party officials.

Amita Singh, the President of Ghaziabad’s legislative assembly, presided over the meeting, which included discussions with Padadhikaris (office bearers) of the Ghaziabad legislative assembly.

During the meeting, there was a strong emphasis on the formation of booth committees and increasing the participation of women in these committees. The establishment of booth committees aims to empower women at the grassroots level and engage them in political activities.

Prominent figures present at the review meeting included Madhu Chaudhary, the State Secretary, Rashmi Chaudhary, the District President, Ritu Khanna, the City President, Asha Kushwaha, the City Secretary, Mohsin Khan, the City Vice President, along with Urmila Patel, Guddi, Sunita Sharma, and many other women who actively participated in the discussion.

The meeting was an essential step towards enhancing women’s political engagement in the region. The Samajwadi Party is committed to promoting women’s participation and ensuring their voices are heard at all levels of governance.
