Prisoner Flees from District Hospital After Tricking Meerut Police

Meerut: In a daring escape, a prisoner managed to flee from the district hospital after deceiving the police officers who were on duty. The prisoner had been admitted to the hospital for medical treatment, and the incident unfolded just two days after his arrest under the NDPS Act by Railway Road Police.

The escape took place under the noses of a Sub-Inspector (SI) and a constable who were responsible for guarding the prisoner during his hospital stay. The prisoner, whose health had reportedly deteriorated while in custody, was admitted to the hospital for necessary medical care.

The daring escape has raised questions about the security measures in place within the hospital premises and the diligence of the officers on duty. The police have launched a manhunt to locate and apprehend the escaped prisoner.

The police are now investigating the circumstances surrounding the escape and are determined to bring the fugitive back into custody. Further updates will be provided as the investigation unfolds.
