Police Raid Shuts Down Illegal Hookah Bar: One Woman and Three Others Arrested

Ghaziabad: In a decisive crackdown on illicit activities, the Ghaziabad police conducted a raid on an illegal hookah bar, leading to the arrest of one woman and three other individuals. The raid, carried out by the local police team, resulted in the seizure of various types of hookahs and hookah-related materials, including tobacco.
The operation took place at an illegal establishment located above the TVS showroom in Rajiv Colony, Bhophura, near DLF Police Post, in Gali No. 11. According to police reports, the hookah bar was being run by a female operator, alongside three other accused individuals.
During the raid, the police confiscated 11 different types of hookahs and various hookah-smoking materials, primarily tobacco. The confiscated items suggest the scale at which the bar was operating, catering to a significant number of customers.
The police team acted on specific intelligence regarding the unauthorized operation of the hookah bar, which had been running clandestinely in the area. The swift action by the Shalimar Garden police underscores their commitment to curbing illegal activities and maintaining law and order in the locality.

“We received a tip-off about the illegal hookah bar operating in Rajiv Colony. Acting on this information, we conducted a raid and arrested the main operator along with three others involved in this illicit business. We have seized multiple hookahs and a substantial quantity of tobacco,” said a senior police officer involved in the operation.
The authorities have urged residents to report any suspicious activities in their neighborhoods, emphasizing that community vigilance is crucial in aiding law enforcement efforts. This raid serves as a warning to other illegal establishments operating in the area that the police will continue to take stringent actions against such activities.
