New Delhi : The claim made by the senior journalist on a Pakistani YouTube channel has created a sensation. Nusrat Mirza, a Pakistani columnist who has visited India many times during the Congress rule boasts on camera that he used to pass on information collected during his visits to the ISI, claims he was invited by Hamid Ansari and the Milli Gazette’s Zafarul Islam Khan. He said that between 2005 and 2011, he went to India several times and gathered information about different cities and went to Pakistan and gave all this information to the ISI Chief and the Pakistan Army.
He further claims that days after he provided the info collected during his 2011 India visit to the ISI, he got a call from a Pakistan army brigadier seeking more such info. Mirza is now sad that the ISI isn’t able to carry out its activities in India anymore due to FATF action.
Mirza mentioned his 2010 visit in the interview. He had come to India to attend a seminar on terrorism at the invitation of then-Vice President of India Hamid Ansari. Mirza noted that his last visit to India was in 2011 when he met the Milli Gazette’s publisher in India, Zafarul Islam Khan. He added that he received much information during this visit which he passed on to ISI. The host, Shakil Chaudhary, is an international relations expert and an independent researcher based in Islamabad.
