On Former MP’s Birth Anniversary, Youth Trade Body Hosts Floral Tribute and Distributes Fruits at Leprosy Shelter
Ghaziabad : In a heartfelt tribute to the late Pandit Shyam Bihari Mishra, founder and guiding force behind the Uttar Pradesh Udyog Vyapar Mandal and a four-time Member of Parliament from Kanpur Dehat, the Yuva Udyog Vyapar Mandal Ghaziabad organized a floral homage ceremony and a fruit distribution drive at a local leprosy shelter.
Marking his 87th birth anniversary, the floral tribute took place at Chhoti Haveli, Bazarja, where traders and members of the organization paid their respects by offering floral tributes and recalling Mishra’s lifetime of service to the trader community.
Speaking at the event, Yuva Zila Adhyaksh Ashish Sharma shared an insightful account of Pandit Mishra’s legacy. “He dedicated his entire life to safeguarding traders’ rights and was a relentless advocate for their causes, even within his own party’s government,” Sharma said. Recounting a moving instance, he added, “Even after the tragic loss of his son, he addressed a traders’ meeting the very next day. Such was his commitment.”
Following the tribute, the organization visited Nav Jeevan Kushth Ashram in Hindon, where fruits and biscuits were distributed to residents. The gesture was a symbol of continuing Mishra Ji’s legacy of compassion and service to marginalized communities.
The event concluded with a reaffirmation of the community’s commitment to upholding the values Pandit Mishra stood for, service, solidarity, and unflinching dedication to the welfare of the business community.
