Old City Ghaziabad Traders Pay Tribute to Pahalgam Attack Victims, Burn Effigy of Terrorism

A wave of grief and outrage swept through Old City Ghaziabad as local trade associations united to condemn the recent terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Kashmir, which claimed the lives of several innocent tourists. In a solemn yet resolute gathering, traders paid heartfelt tribute to the victims and held a symbolic effigy burning of the terrorists, sending a strong message of unity and defiance against terrorism.
The event was organized by various business bodies from across Old City Ghaziabad, who expressed their solidarity with the bereaved families and demanded strict and immediate action from the Indian government against those responsible for the heinous act.
Local leaders and members of the trading community gathered in large numbers to participate in the ceremony. Member of Parliament Atul Garg, City MLA Sanjeev Sharma, and BJP Metropolitan President Mayank Goel were present alongside several municipal and community representatives.

Speakers at the event emphasized the importance of national unity and security, declaring that the trading community stands firmly with the government in the fight against terrorism.
“This was not just a tribute to the victims, but a collective voice against cowardly attacks. The business community of Ghaziabad demands justice and a firm response to deter any future acts of terror,” said one of the key speakers.
As effigies burned and candles flickered, the message was clear: Ghaziabad will not be silent in the face of terror.
