‘No Progress In Work’: Residents Of Officer City Hit Streets in Rajnagar Extension, Ghaziabad

Ghaziabad : Residents of Officer City-1 Society of Rajnagar Extension are facing the problem of electricity since Friday night and water since Saturday morning. As soon as the power supply was interrupted in the night, 50-60 residents reached the residence of the builder in Kavinagar. People returned after persuaded by the police.

The woman had died due to not running the lift:

According to the complaint of Deepa Sirohi, on the allotted load of one thousand kilowatts, 1250 residents have been given connections of eight thousand kilowatts, due to which faults occur every day. On Friday night also the power went out and the generator did not start the supply. The lift does not get supply from the generator. It is alleged that for this reason, it took half an hour to get the ailing woman down from the seventh floor. She died in critical condition due to a lack of timely treatment.

Problems facing:

Residents alleged that the pump house has not been built for drinking water and the parking is also not enough. There are no fire extinguishers in the society. The work of clubhouse, road, STP, rainwater harvesting, basement, etc. is also incomplete. Garbage is lying and there is no hearing in the maintenance office. These facilities were assured along with the possession of the flat in the agreement. The people here are forced to lead a hellish life.

Version of officials

The fault occurred on Friday night due to breaker failure. As soon as the supply was restored at 4.30 in the morning, the fault occurred again. After the repair, the supply was restored here at 5 pm on Saturday.
