NDRF to Host Spectacular Festival in Celebration of Navratri

Ghaziabad: From October 21st to October 23rd, a grand festival is set to grace the 8th Battalion NDRF (National Disaster Response Force) Campus in Kamala Nehru Nagar. The occasion? Navratri, a nine-night celebration that holds deep cultural and spiritual significance for many.

This three-day extravaganza will run from early afternoon to 10 PM daily, offering an array of delightful experiences. The event is made even more exciting with the inclusion of various stalls set up by NDRF personnel. These stalls feature delectable dishes from different states of India, showcasing the rich culinary diversity of the nation.

For the children and women in attendance, special swings have been installed, promising a fun-filled time. This festival is not just about celebration but also a way to appreciate and acknowledge the NDRF’s unwavering dedication to their duties during emergencies.

The NDRF personnel, who are always ready to serve during disasters and crises, can now enjoy a break from their duties with a range of entertainment options. The event includes devotional music, Ram Leela performances, music shows, Dandiya dances, and more.

Commandant Praveen Kumar Tiwari regularly organizes such events in the battalion to ensure that the NDRF personnel can relax and rejuvenate, away from their regular high-pressure responsibilities. These gatherings provide a well-deserved break and a chance for the NDRF team to unwind and enjoy the festive spirit.

This festival not only celebrates the traditions of Navratri but also highlights the unity and diversity of India, bringing together people from different regions and backgrounds to revel in the joy of this occasion.
