NDRF Celebrates Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel’s Birth Anniversary as National Unity Day
Ghaziabad: On the occasion of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel’s birth anniversary, celebrated as National Unity Day, the 8th Battalion of the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) located in Kamla Nehru Nagar, Ghaziabad, organized a series of events, including a “Run for Unity” and a march-past.
The commemorative activities saw enthusiastic participation from NDRF personnel, including both male and female rescue teams, as well as officers. Deepak Talwar, the Deputy Commandant, administered an oath to all the rescue personnel. In this oath, they pledged their unwavering commitment to preserving the unity, integrity, and internal security of the nation, dedicating themselves to contributing to the welfare and safety of their country.
