National Lok Dal Leader Extends Gratitude for Bharat Ratna Honor to Late PM Chaudhary Charan Singh
Ghaziabad: Indrajit Singh, the National Vice President of the Lok Dal and President of the Gurudwara Shri Guru Singh Sabha, representing the entire Punjabi community, extended heartfelt thanks to the Honorable President and the esteemed former Prime Minister for conferring the Bharat Ratna upon the late Prime Minister Chaudhary Charan Singh.
In a momentous occasion marked by profound gratitude, Indrajit Singh conveyed, “I express my deepest gratitude on behalf of the entire Punjabi society and as the head of the Gurudwara Shri Guru Singh Sabha, for the special recognition bestowed upon the revered former Prime Minister by our respected President and the esteemed Prime Minister of the nation. The demand that has been persisting for several decades, honoring every farmer, every laborer, and respecting every class of society, has finally been met with the Bharat Ratna conferred upon the late Prime Minister Chaudhary Charan Singh. Words fall short to express my gratitude.”
He further emphasized, “Governments before today did not make efforts to undertake this task. Today, this is the greatest honor for the country. Chaudhary Jayant Singh Ji, our National President and Rajya Sabha Member, received this honor from the Honorable President. The entire nation, both rural and urban areas, is swept by a wave of joy for this historic moment.”
