Meta-owned Apps Experience Widespread Outage Worldwide

New Delhi: Users around the globe, including in India and parts of the US, have been left frustrated as popular Meta-owned apps like Instagram, Facebook, and Facebook Messenger faced a major outage.

In India, many users reported encountering issues with both Instagram and Facebook. The problems ranged from difficulties refreshing Instagram feeds to trouble logging into Facebook accounts.

As of now, the reason behind the outage remains unclear. However, it’s worth noting that only Meta-owned apps seem to be affected, with other platforms functioning normally.

The outage has sparked speculation and concern among users, with many taking to social media platforms to express their frustration and seek updates.

Meanwhile, cybersecurity experts are closely monitoring the situation, investigating the possibility of a cyberattack targeting Meta’s services.

While Meta has yet to provide an official statement regarding the cause of the outage, users are advised to remain patient as the company works to resolve the issue.

We will continue to monitor the situation and provide updates as soon as more information becomes available.
