Meerut | December 27 : PM Modi will lay the foundation stone of the proposed sports university to be set up in the name of hockey legend Major Dhyan Chand in Meerut on January 2.The University will come up in salawa village in sardhana tehsil about 32km from Meerut.
Dev, Arjun, Nikhil & Anas from Panchali village in Meerut came to meet Comissioner Surendra Singh with a request to perform Yoga in the proposed ingauration programme of the sports university. These kids have their name inscribed in the National and International Records, Golden Book of World Records for longest performance of Karnapidasana Yoga.
