Meerut: Government of Uttar Pradesh under the visionary leadership of Hon’ble Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has set an ambitious target of attracting Investment of Rupees 10 Lakh Crore in 2023. While the summit is almost a month after, the target is already over achieved and revised to Rupees 17 Lakh Crore by the UP Government to further enhance the impact of the Global Investors Summit, UP.

On the success of achieving these ambitious targets, it will not only amplify Brand Uttar Pradesh as a global investment destination but also create a landmark transformation in inclusive growth of the entire state generating never-seen-before employment generation, economic growth and upgrade of
gross domestic income of the citizens of Uttar Pradesh. While the senior-most officials of the government did roadshows to meet and discuss investment opportunities in major cities of India and the world, now it’s the turn of district administration at the local level to attract domestic
investment of UP’s own Industrialists and StartUps. In the same sequence, District Administration Meerut is organising the ‘District Investors Summit’ on 20th January 2023 at Hotel Bravura Gold Resort, Meerut, from 9 AM onwards. The event is also a great opportunity for local businessmen to understand the never-seen-before relaxations in policy red tape to start new businesses and industries in Meerut, as the Nivesh Saarthi Portal is still open and accepting Investment Intents from people who wish to start industries here.

This event will also see the launch of the “Invest in Meerut” Campaign, with the Tagline: “New UP’s Gateway to Prosperity”, which will continue to woo investors ever after. Invest in Meerut Investors Summit has invited Ministers, Policy Makers to Chief Executives of more than 14 Government departments both at the state and central levels to meet our local investors, advise on policies, and answer their challenges for our sustainable growth. More than 300 Investment Projects of
over 10,000 Crore, generating more than 60,000 jobs – have been approved by the State Government in Meerut District until today, and signed MOUs of the same shall be handed over to the Investors at the Event. Invest in Meerut Summit’s Key Focus Sectors are Sports Goods, Musical Instruments, Jewellery Manufacturing, Paper Production, Printing & Publishing, Scissor Manufacturing, Logistics & Warehousing, Food Processing, Electric Vehicles, and Armour Handicrafts to name a few. The event will also have knowledge sessions on topics related to MSME Policy, Handloom & Textile Policy, Tourism Policy, Dairy Processing, Logistics & Warehousing Policy, Green Technology, and Digital Commerce, among others. association representatives.
