IDFC First Bank’s Lend-A-Shoulder Initiative: Tree Plantation Drive in Rajnagar Extension
Ghaziabad: Lend-A-Shoulder Initiative by IDFC First Bank Encourages Tree Plantation in Collaboration with Global Organization for Rural Industrial Research and Development
In a concerted effort to promote environmental conservation and community participation, IDFC First Bank and its employees joined hands with the Global Organization for Rural Industrial Research and Development for a tree plantation drive under the Lend-A-Shoulder program. The event took place at Milan Arth Society, Rajnagar Extn., Ghaziabad.
Speaking on the occasion, Ravindra Tyagi Yogi, President of the organization, emphasized the growing concern for climate change and its adverse effects on the environment and weather patterns. He highlighted the need for collective action and expressed hope for a sustainable future for India amidst the prevailing crisis.
Yagyadutt Tyagi, Secretary of the organization, stressed the importance of nurturing the planted saplings and providing them with proper care and nourishment. He urged everyone to remain vigilant against activities that contribute to pollution in the vicinity.
Yogesh Tyagi, Media Coordinator, added that concerted efforts should be made to curb pollution in the surrounding areas and discourage activities that exacerbate the problem.
The team leader of the Lend-A-Shoulder program, Ashif Ahmad, directed the team members to actively participate and follow the guidelines with discipline. Arun Kumar, a supporting team leader, assisted in coordinating the efforts, while Prateek Garg, Cluster Head, and Sandeep Kumar, Bank Manager, provided valuable assistance to the entire team during the plantation drive.
The arrangements made by Subodh Kumar, the manager of the organization, for refreshments were highly appreciated. Interns from the organization, Khushi Tyagi and Astha Chohan, enthusiastically contributed by planting trees and making their own valuable contributions.
Ashish Tyagi, Pushkar Tyagi, Manoj Mittal, and others also actively participated in the program, making it a successful and impactful event.
The tree plantation drive not only showcased the commitment of IDFC First Bank and its employees towards environmental protection but also fostered a sense of responsibility towards creating a greener and healthier future for all.
