Har Ghar Tiranga: Home Guards Jawans & Citizens Participate In Tiranga Yatra At Meerut

Meerut : The ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign by the government is aimed at encouraging people to hoist and celebrate the Tricolour. Ahead of India’s 75th Independence Day, the Home Guards on Saturday, August 13 took out a Tiranga yatra along with the locals at Meerut.  

The home guards personnel took out the rally carrying the national flag in the area while people were seen chanting patriotic slogans.

Nadda urges people to make the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign successful

Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) president JP Nadda on Saturday urged the countrymen to make the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign successful.“ The country is celebrating ‘Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav’. Under Prime Minister Modi, the whole country has taken an oath to hoist the tricolour under ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ programme. I request everyone to make ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ successful,” the BJP chief said.

Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav is an initiative of the Government of India to celebrate and commemorate 75 years of independence and the glorious history of India’s people, culture and achievements. The idea behind the initiative is to invoke the feeling of patriotism in the hearts of the people and promote awareness about the tricolour.
