Grand Convention of Transgender Community Commences in Ghaziabad

Ghaziabad: Ghaziabad witnessed a spectacular event as the grand convention of the transgender community kicked off in the city. Hundreds of transgender individuals from across the nation gathered in Ghaziabad, marking the beginning of the event with a majestic procession, riding vintage cars and limousines.

Local residents and police officers alike were unable to resist capturing the procession on their mobile phones, as the participants adorned themselves extravagantly, resembling brides with silver kalash (pots) on their heads. Dancing to the tunes of the procession band, the transgender community paraded through various landmarks, including Maliwara, Volga Palace, Dasna Gate, Purana Bazaar, Chopla, Delhi Gate, and GT Road, before returning to Maliwara Volga Palace.

The convention aims to provide a platform for the transgender community to voice their concerns and celebrate their identity. It promises to be a vibrant and inclusive gathering, showcasing the rich culture and traditions of the transgender community.
