Ghaziabad Witnesses Historic Tiranga Shaurya Yatra to Indian Soldiers and PM Modi’s Vision

Ghaziabad | May 10, 2025
Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh – In a powerful display of unity, patriotism, and cultural pride, the sacred land of Ghaziabad hosted a grand Tiranga Shaurya Yatra, organized by Bharat Mata Sanskritik Sansthan on Operation Sindoor. This historic event was dedicated to honouring the Indian Armed Forces and celebrating the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
The journey began from Thakurdwara Temple, with a floral tribute at the statue of freedom fighter Chandrashekhar Azad, inaugurated by BJP’s State General Secretary (Organisation) Dharampal Singh, who passionately recalled the legacy of May 10, 1857 – the beginning of India’s first war of independence.
“This date is not just a chapter in history, but the flame that ignited our collective fight for freedom. Today’s yatra is a resurgence of that same patriotic fervour,” Shri Singh declared.
He added that under PM Modi’s dynamic leadership, India is moving towards self-reliance and global recognition, and this yatra is a tribute to the sacrifices and spirit that shaped independent India.
A Spectacle of National Unity
The yatra featured a 1-km long tricolour that became the centre of attraction, flanked by hundreds of patriotic cutouts and posters of Indian heroes like Colonel Sophia Qureshi and Vyomika Singh, energizing the youth along the route.
A giant portrait of Bharat Mata was paraded atop an open jeep, while 5 JCB cranes showered flowers to create an awe-inspiring visual. At Durga Bhabhi Chowk, women dressed as historical warriors like Rani Laxmibai and Jijabai welcomed the procession, reflecting the strength of Nari Shakti (women power). Children dressed as young soldiers drew enthusiastic applause from the crowd.
Voices of Leadership and Patriotism
Chief organiser Mayank Goel summed up the spirit of the event:
“From the revolution of 1857 to today, the tricolour remains our symbol of pride and sacrifice. This journey salutes our soldiers and reignites patriotism under PM Modi’s visionary leadership. Serving the nation remains the purpose of my life.”
Cabinet Minister Sunil Sharma described the yatra as “a powerful initiative guiding youth energy toward national service.”
Minister Narendra Kashyap praised the overwhelming public sentiment in support of the Army and leadership, while MLAs Sanjeev Sharma and Ajit Pal Tyagi hailed it as a mirror of Indian cultural and national consciousness.
Mayor Sunita Dayal and MLC Dinesh Goel lauded the all-inclusive community participation. Former Minister Atul Garg declared the event a “timeless tribute to Bharat Mata,” and Sardar S.P. Singh of the Gurdwara Committee emphasized “unity beyond religion and caste.”

Cultural Grandeur and Mass Participation
More than 25 welcome points lined the route with flower showers, drum beats, and chants like “Saugandh Mujhe Is Mitti Ki…” — a stirring reminder of patriotic commitment.
Organizations from every walk of life — including Maharaja Agrasen Samiti, All India Muslim Association, Kisan Ekta Manch, Nari Shakti Manch, Gurdwara Committee, Ambedkar Samiti, and Vyapar Mandals — joined hands to echo the message of “Unity in Diversity.”
Triumphant Conclusion and Mass Oath
The yatra culminated at Seth Mukund Lal School, dazzling in tricolour lights and decorations. With arrangements for over 4,000 citizens, the finale featured:
- Honouring of martyrs’ families by Shri Dharampal Singh
- A stirring poetry recital by national poet Mohit Shaurya
- High-octane rock band performances on patriotic themes
- A mass pledge to stand with India’s Army and PM Modi “till our last breath”
- A grand Bharat Mata Aarti echoed by thousands, leaving a soul-stirring impact
