Ghaziabad : In a significant move to strengthen the partnership between law enforcement and the industrial sector, the Ghaziabad Police Commissioner, Ajay Kumar Mishra, held a high-level meeting with industrialists on Wednesday, July 24, 2023. The meeting, organized by the Indian Industries Association (IIA), focused on addressing the various challenges faced by industries in the region.
The event, which saw a gathering of prominent industrialists and police officials, marked a new chapter in the collaboration between the two sectors. Issues such as increased patrolling, improved traffic management, and prompt response to emergencies were at the forefront of the discussions.
Addressing the gathering, Commissioner Mishra assured the industrialists of the police department’s commitment to providing a secure environment for businesses. He announced plans to hold monthly meetings with industrial representatives to address their concerns on a regular basis. Moreover, he emphasized the need for effective communication between the police and the industry, promising to share the contact details of all police officials with the IIA.
Sanjay Agarwal, Chapter Chairman of IIA Ghaziabad, expressed satisfaction with the outcome of the meeting. “This meeting has opened new avenues for cooperation between the police and the industry. We are confident that the measures announced by the Commissioner will go a long way in addressing the challenges faced by our members,” he said.
The meeting also saw a detailed discussion on cybercrime. Senior police officials highlighted the various cyber threats faced by businesses and provided tips on how to stay safe online.
