Ghaziabad Murder Shocks Raj Nagar Extension: Man Shoots Wife After Heated Argument Over Passport
Ghaziabad, October 14: A shocking case of domestic violence has rocked the Raj Nagar Extension area of Ghaziabad, where a man allegedly shot dead his wife at their residence in Ajnara Integrity Society and fled the scene on Sunday morning.
According to police officials, the accused, identified as Vikas Sahalawat, resident of the society, returned home early in the morning and shot his wife, Ruby Chaudhary, following a heated argument. Preliminary investigation suggests that the dispute erupted over a passport, which Vikas had been demanding from his wife.
Reports indicate that the couple’s two daughters, one studying in Class 10 and the other in Class 6 – were at home when the incident took place. The children woke up to the sound of gunfire and immediately informed neighbors that their father had fled after shooting their mother.

Police and forensic teams reached the spot soon after receiving the information. ACP Nandgram Upasana Pandey stated that the accused is currently unemployed and absconding after committing the crime. A manhunt has been launched to trace him.
Residents of the society were left stunned by the incident, which unfolded in the otherwise peaceful residential complex. Police have recovered the bullet casing from the scene and sent the body for postmortem examination. Investigations are ongoing, and police officials have assured that the accused will be arrested soon.

जानकारी के अनुसार, अजनारा इंटीग्रिटी सोसाइटी में विकास सहलावत रहते है। विकास शराब पीने के आदी है। आए दिन शराब पीकर पत्नी रूबी से झगडा करते हैं। पुलिस का कहना है कि रात को दोनों के बीच झगडा हुआ। देर रात दोनों अपने कमरे में सोने चले गए। उनकी एक 10 साल की बच्ची भी है। सुबह दोनों के बीच फिर झगडा हुआ। बच्ची दूसरे कमरे में सो रही थी। इस बीच विकास ने गुस्से में आकर पत्नी पर गोली चला दी। गोली लगने से रूबी की मौके पर ही मौत हो गई। एसीपी नंदग्राम उपासना पांडेय ने बताया कि शव को पोस्टमार्टम के लिए भेज दिया गया है। आरोपी पति विकास की गिरफ्तारी के लिए टीमें गठित कर दी गई है।
