Ghaziabad Horror: Woman Constable Crushed to Death by Speeding Trailer on National Highway

Ghaziabad witnessed a horrifying road accident on Saturday morning when a woman constable riding a scooty was crushed to death by a speeding trailer truck on the National Highway. The impact of the collision was so severe that her body was mutilated, leaving bystanders in shock and horror.
The tragic incident took place near Om Sai Farm House, close to Lal Kuan, under the jurisdiction of Wave City police station. The victim was identified as Anuradha, a resident of Muzaffarnagar, who was posted at Dadri police station in Gautam Buddh Nagar. She was on her way from Govindpuram, Ghaziabad, to Dadri when the trailer, carrying iron sheet bundles, rammed into her from behind.
The force of the crash dragged both Anuradha and her scooty under the massive vehicle, which then ran over her. Eyewitnesses described the scene as “unbearably gruesome,” with many people trembling at the sight of the mangled remains.
Following the accident, the truck driver abandoned the vehicle and fled the scene. Police from Wave City station reached immediately, seized the truck, and launched a manhunt for the absconding driver. The body was sent for postmortem examination.

The horrifying accident has sent shockwaves through the local community and the police fraternity. Residents expressed outrage over the growing menace of speeding heavy vehicles on busy stretches of the National Highway, calling for stricter enforcement of traffic laws and better monitoring to prevent such tragedies.
Anuradha’s untimely death has not only left her family devastated but has also sparked demands for improved road safety measures, particularly for frontline personnel like police officers who often travel long distances on two-wheelers for duty.
Authorities have assured a swift investigation and promised that the driver will be brought to justice.
